Recommendations to take Ayahuasca or Wachuma

Ayahuasca ceremony

The process consists of temporary retreats in the countryside, isolated for ingestion of Inca medicines or Master Plants, under a certain diet and very strict standards of physical and psychic activity. It creates a space with nature dedicated to physical and energetical purification, eliminating substances that block sensitivity, favors the production of dreams, remembrance of past non-integrated situations, deep introspection and encounter with the Inner Master. To take part in the retreat, you must diet for three days before and three to seven days after leaving the healing and purification of your body, mind and soul to achieve the expected results; if you do not follow the recommendations you will lose your healing. By making a journey of exploration and discovery of yourself, you bring greater self-awareness to the personal routines and habits that make us who we are. The main advantage of the diet is that it helps us to develop a deeper connection with nature and with your inner being, it purifies negative and emotional overloads that you have stored.

Do not consume

You should not use drugs, alcohol, coffee or chocolate for two or three days before the Ayahuasca ceremony. Avoid canned foods, red meat and pork, sausages and excess salt and sugar. You should not consume over-the-counter medications, antibiotics, injections, pills, vitamins, supplements. Includes abstinence from sex and masturbation, avoiding chili in your food, avoid drinking soda. If you regularly consume medications or are on menstruation please tell us in advance to consult with our Ayahuasca Shaman and make sure you'll be able to participate in the Ayahuasca ceremony. It is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol or take any medication during your stay at the Retreats Temple, if you smoke tobacco please tell us before.

Take to the Retreat

List of items you should have for the Retreat: sunblock, two-liter water bottle, two rolls of toilet paper, raincoat or rain poncho, hiking shoes or boots, sunglasses, camera, backpack, lantern, warm extra clothing. If you are going to return to Cusco city, it is best to leave your luggage at the hotel and only bring enough clothes and personal items for the duration of your retreat. If you do not have a hotel booked for your return to Cusco city, your luggage will be stored in our office or if you wish you can take it to the Retreat Temple anyway.

Noble Silence

The noble silence is to concentrate and work the interiors, thus avoid unnecessary spend of energy, make possible to speak only in hours of conversation of integration and in cases necessary in the ceremonies, that is to say in case of emergency. It is not possible to interrupt the Master Shamans within the healing, only when you consider that it is an emergency, through the translators or assistants to solve questions related to your health, food, lodging, coordination, etc. The Masters will maintain the noble silence for the same reasons, they will only be able to talk about the ceremonies and cures, they will keep the noble silence in the rooms and in the whole center, only there will be a cell phone for emergency, property of the center in charge of the translator. The translator will only translate, talk in a polite way to the patient out of respect for both his person and his inner work, not mention anything that affects or bother the patient like vulgar jokes or personal stories that do not help his personal growth, provide cultural information but no personal comments.

Drinking Volcanic Medicinal Water

The main requirement of our technique is the preparation of the body, cleansing or detoxification of your digestive system, through the Volcanic Medicinal Water, which comes from an actual volcanic source; it will be drunk one day before the retreat, the process takes two hours plus one hour of information, remember to be fasting during the day. The meeting place and time should be coordinated with Caisae; you should bring toilet paper and warm clothing, for more information read about the medicinal water of Marcani.
